Trinidad Viper Brown - (Capsicum chinense)
This plant came up this year unexpected. Seeds were not true so obviously a natural cross from where we acquired. Was supposed to be a Trinidad Viper x Purple Bhut.
The peppers on this plant are beautifully shaped. Shaped like melting wax. They start off green then turn a soft brown and finally a deep reddish brown. The wavy curly fruits get about 2-3 inches long and have a scorpion pointed tail. The heat hits very quick and taste is fruity and pleasant. Similar to a Habanero heat and flavor.
Heat level: Approximately 300k-400k SHU – Very Hot.
Flavor: Quick Heat and fruity.
