7 Pot Bhutlah Bubblegum Red - Seeds

Description
A cross between a Red Bhutlah (Bhut Jolokia X 7 Pot Douglah) and a 7 Pot Bubblegum (Yellow 7 Pot X Moruga Scorpion). It was made by a Wisconsin grower by the name of Chad Soleski who also happened to be the creator of the original Bhutlah. Like other Bubblegum strains it does not bleed the color of the chili up the calyx and stem. Bhutlah BBG7 is extremely hot. The peppers resemble extra-large Naga peppers but can get small tails at end of pods and be ribbed. It is not totally stable so expect different shapes. The Bhutlah BBG7 chili plants grow over 4 feet tall.

The 7 Pot Brain Strain was refined by David Capiello from the original 7 Pot Strain by selective seed saving techniques Generation after generation, Mr. Capiello selected seeds from the original 7 Pot Strain by focusing on characteristics similar in appearance to the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion pepper in both appearance and heat level. The result is a pepper that is typically slightly smaller than the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion with a texture that resembles a human brain. Many believe the 7 Pot Brain Strain is the hottest of the red 7 Pot varieties.

The Bubblegum 7 pod is a chili pepper from Jon Harper in the UK. It’s also known as Bleeding Bubblegum or BBG7 and is a cross between a Trinidad Morouga Scorpion and Yellow 7 pod pepper. Jon called it Bubblegum because he thought it had a taste of the Bubbaliscious Bubblegum. The thick over-sized calyx turned red “bleeding” when pods are left on the plants for longer times. The 7 Pot Bubblegum pepper is not yet entirely stable.

This pepper was once the most expensive in the world! The north Peruvian jungle native is a wild bushy plant which produces hundreds of hot, small (.25 inch), round Tepin-like peppers. The Aji Charapita only recently became cultivated for commercial use. The fruity flavor adds a nice tropical touch to salsas and sauces. The Aji Charapita plant is wide and bushy, and from it, hundreds of these chilies can grow. Not terribly hot, but once you bite in it hits you right away like a smack in the face. Hard to believe such a tiny thing can pack such a quick punch. The heat does subside quickly making you want to pop another.
