Habanero Caribbean Red - (Capsicum chinense)

The Caribbean Red is one of the hottest Habaneros topping out around 450k SHU.  They originated from the Yucatan area of Mexico.  The Caribbean Red grows to about 1.5 inches in length and 1 inch around and ripen to a bright red.  The plants grow up to 3-4 feet and are very prolific producers of fruits.  They are perfect for salsas and hot sauces and great for adding a kick of heat to any dish.

Flavor:  Fruity, Pungent, Citrusy, Slightly Smoky.
