7 Pot Bhutlah Bubblegum Red - Seeds from $5.75
Description A cross between a Red Bhutlah (Bhut Jolokia X 7 Pot Douglah) and a 7 Pot Bubblegum (Yellow 7 Pot X Moruga Scorpion). It was made by a Wisconsin grower by the name of Chad Soleski who also happened to be the creator of the original Bhutlah. Like other Bubblegum strains it does not bleed the color of the chili up the calyx and stem. Bhutlah BBG7 is extremely hot. The peppers resemble extra-large Naga peppers but can get small tails at end of pods and be ribbed. It is not totally stable so expect different shapes. 7 Pot Lava x Testanera Red - (Capsicum chinense)This is a cross between a 7 Pot Lava and a Testanera Red. The plants have dark foliage and the pods start off dark as well. They ripen to a bright orange and finally to a deep red with a dark iridescence resembling a sunburn. Most of the pods are about 1.5 - 2 inches and roundish with some having a pointed tip so still thinking this pheno is a little unstable. The heat is pretty intense and seems to hit hardest on the back of the tongue. Flavor is floral with hint of smokiness before the heat slams into you. This is a rare super hot variety that you won’t get anywhere else! The Abyss Chocolate is a creation from Kevin Bain and is a four-way cross, however, the cross is unknown, so we are growing a mysterious pepper! It’s being kept a secret for now, but that’s not a big deal because we still get to grow and taste this beauty. The heat level is also unknown, but we do know it packs some heat. The Abyss Chocolate pepper ripens from green to a chocolate color and forms into an oval shape and a tiny tail. The Abyss looks pretty gnarly with its rough, bumpy, scary-looking skin. The Aconcagua pepper is a very sweet and very LARGE heirloom pepper named after the beautiful mountain in Argentina, where the pepper originated! Aconcagua pepper plants can grow close to 3 ft. tall and will likely need to be supported because the pods are heavy. Aji Ayuyo - (Capsicum baccatum)The Aji Ayuyo is a beautiful pepper that originated from Peru. The color progression as it ripens is impressive. The jellybean looking fruits ripen from a deep purple to creamy purple then turn an iridescent orange and finally to a bright red. The fruits are very thick walled making them pretty heavy for their size. The plants a very bushy and vine like and do best when supported by a trellis. We had ours growing through a chain link fence and it grew perfectly. The peppers are very juicy and have a sweet tangy flavor with mild heat.
