The Chocolate Carolina Reapers have less tails on the pods.  They have a beautiful chocolate color with a rough surface and a stinger. Heat level:  1,200,000 - 2,200,000 (SHU) Scoville Heat Units - Insanely Hot! Flavor:  Sweet, fruity, with a hint of cinnamon with chocolate undertones.

Thunder Mountain Longhorn - (Capsicum annuum) These beauties are a sight to see in any garden.  Thin curly peppers that can get well over a foot long.  Very similar to a Cayenne but better tasting and milder.  Originally from the southwest region of China known as Guizhou.  Traditionally dried and smoked.  The plants are very compact but extremely productive.  Ripen from green to red. Heat level:  Approximately 30,000-40,000 SHU - Medium Heat. Flavor:  Very complex taste.

The Yellow Reaper is a cross between the Ghost Pepper and Golden Habanero, which makes a delicious flavor paired with loads of intense heat! You'll notice some of these 2" pods developing little stingers on the bottoms! Yellow Reapers mature from green to their final bright yellow. The Death Spiral Chile or the "Death Pepper" is a new strain of pepper that emerged from the United Kingdom a few years ago. The Death Spiral manifested its way into the hot pepper market and took the pepper community by storm. Pepper plants can grow up to 4 ft. tall and produce nice yields of these super hot peppers that are loaded with capsaicin oil, dripping between the inner walls of the pepper. The inner skin of these peppers is light brown in color, which foreshadows the burn that is about to ensue. The ripening stages are very unique compared to other chili peppers. In the early stages, it starts at a light green, then changes to light peach, finishing with a vibrant red and orange color. Since this is a relatively new strain, expect some variability. Flavor seems to vary with these peppers. Most peppers are fruity with citrus undertones, while some are floral with extreme heat. Nevertheless, this pepper is ridiculously hot and exciting to grow! The Genghis Khan Brain pepper has been grown and developed by the AIASP in Italy. Though the Genghis Khan Brain has been around for a few years, not many are familiar with this rare variety. However, for those who are aware, the heat on this pepper is incredibly hot with an everlasting burn. Grow these pepper plants and watch them span over 4 ft. tall in your garden. The Genghis Khan Brain chili has a pimply rough-looking outer skin that ripens from green to red. When it ripens, you'll notice delicious fruity tones and a heat that rivals any other super hot pepper. The heat and scent are close to other red Brain Strain pepper varieties, but the heat cuts through your tongue. Estimated to be over 1,500,000 SHUs, the incredible heat of the Genghis Khan isn't necessarily a throat-grabber, but the oily menace doesn't play games and sticks around long after you take a bite. This is an amazing variety created by Butch Taylor himself! The two-parent plants are a Trinidad Scorpion Butch T and a Carolina Reaper. One is a previous world record holder, and the other is the current world record holder! These pepper plants will grow up to 3 ft. tall and produce high yields of these 2" long peppers. BTR pods have an appearance similar to a Moruga Scorpion, but with a much thinner outer wall. They mature from green to dark orange/red color when it reaches maturity. Butch T Reaper peppers take longer to mature, however, they grow well in warm and cool climates. The flavor is very floral and citrus upfront, with a burn like nothing we have ever tasted before! The heat is screamingly hot and packs a punch that will BEAT YOU UP, but if you love that kind of heat, then we can only say to grow it. On our heat scale, we give them an 11 out of 10, but we haven't had them "officially" tested yet.
