A Japanese type imported directly from Kyoto, Japan that proved itself a winner when it was previously offered in the Vermont Bean Seed Company catalog in the 1990’s. Slender fruits are deeply purple, borne early and nearly seedless. Smooth, uniform texture with fine. sweet flavor - never bitter! - is perfect in stir fry or any of your favorite eggplant recipes.
