1987 AAS Winner. Purple Ruffles Basil is an award-winning ornamental herb prized for its deep purple, heavily ruffled leaves and rich Genovese-style flavor accented with hints of spice and licorice. Winner of the 1987 AAS Award, this standout variety brings vibrant color and gourmet aroma to garden beds, borders, and containers.
Its bold foliage elevates salads, pesto, pastas, and garnishes while adding a striking visual contrast in herb gardens.
