Ingredients

2 red or pink grapefruits, chilled

4 tablespoons sugar
-
1 bottle of Marie Sharp’s Hot Grapefruit Pulp Habanero Pepper Sauce
Special Equipment:

Kitchen Torch
Directions
Half each grapefruit crosswise. With a knife carefully trim, at an angle, the rind around the top cut surface of the grapefruit half.
Sprinkle approximately 4 drops of Marie Sharp’s Hot Grapefruit Pulp Pepper Sauce on each grapefruit half, or add more drops to desired taste.
Sprinkle each grapefruit half with 1 Tablespoon of sugar. Using a kitchen torch, melt the sugar to form a golden brown and crispy surface.
Garnish with fresh berries and a sprig of mint.
