Red Scotch Brain Strain Pepper Seeds (7 Pot Strain)
from $6.99
This gnarly pepper variety is named for its ability to resemble a brain! The Brain Strain, also known as the 7 Pot Brain Strain, is part of the 7 Pot Pepper family that is known for its scorching heat, and this pepper variety is no exception. This is not a hybrid pepper but instead was developed using selective breeding to use particular desired traits. In 2010, David Capiello (a hot pepper growing hobbyist) from North Carolina, obtained these seeds from a grower in Trinidad & Tobago.
The 7 Pot Brain Strain pepper plant is very productive and stretches up to 3-4 ft. tall. Believe to be similar and closely related to the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion, the 7 Pot Brain Strain peppers will grow up to 2" long and be wrinkly and bumpy with a "brain-like" look. In our opinion, this may be the coolest hot pepper you can grow in your garden! Pods will ripen from green to a striking red color when they reach maturity.
This hefty super hot pepper has volcanic heat and more placental tissue than other peppers, almost as hot as the Carolina Reaper. We must warn you that this could be the hottest of the 7 Pot Pepper family! Try using this pepper for soups and stews for their smoky flavors!

Cubanelle Peppers Seeds
from $1.99
The Cubanelle pepper is quite the charming light green pepper. The pepper is very popular in Central America like Cuba, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic because the Cubanelle comes with unique flavors that you’d never expect!
Cubanelle pepper plants are able to grow up to 3 ft. tall. Ripening from light green, yellow-green, orange, to finally red or orange-red, the Cubanelle grows to 4-6 inches long with glossy, smooth, and firm skin. Their shape looks identical to a banana shape with tapered ends, or an Aconcagua pepper. Don’t get it mixed with the banana pepper though, as their flavors are different! The Cubanelle peppers are known for their unique, imperfectly curled, and twisted shapes so no two Cubanelles are the same, but we find that charming!
Sweet with a touch of heat, they have flavors of mellow honey with a heat level of 0-1,000 SHUs. The heat is considered less than the Jalapeño so hot pepper lovers wouldn’t call this a hot pepper, but it does have slight spice. Also called the Italian Frying pepper for their amazing flavors when cooked in a frying pan with some olive oil, these are great to use for salads, stuffing, casseroles, mole sauce, or toppings on sandwiches and pizza. If you’re craving sofrito, the Cubanelle is a traditional ingredient that is commonly used in sofrito in South America and Central America. Bleeding Borg 9 Red Pepper Seeds
from $5.49
The Bleeding Borg 9 chili pepper comes with a bit of history: Jon Harper, an expert grower from the United Kingdom, created this pepper. This is a cross between the 7 Pot Bubblegum and Naglah (Bhut Jolokia x 7 Pot Douglah). We’re not sure why it’s called the Borg 9, but some say it was named after the actor Ernest Borgnine. What we do know is he included the word ‘bleeding’ into the name because he created the 7 Pot Bubblegum which the color of the pepper bleeds up the calyx and the stem.
Bleeding Borg 9 pepper plants can grow to 4 feet tall and produce over 100 peppers in a season. The 2" pods are very wrinkly, maturing to their vibrant red color at maturity.
These hefty super hot peppers won't make you bleed, but you may tear up. Those who accept the challenge brought forth by these hogs will be rewarded by the unique fruity and slightly floral flavors, as well as dripping capsaicin oils. As always, most red super hot chiles go well in hot sauce as well as any type of beef-centric soups. The Bleeding Borg 9 in powder form, makes an amazing spicy seasoning!

These pepper plants boast great yields of these pendant-shaped peppers, growing to half an inch with large curved stems. Ripening from green, yellow, golden orange, to finally red, make sure to harvest them when they are yellow because the Bode Yellow Pepper tastes best during the yellow stage.
The Bode Amarela pepper has a surprisingly subtle fruity flavor compared to other small chilis, where it tastes identical to habanero-type fruitiness with a nice hint of smoke. The only difference is the Bode Pepper won’t have the same spice level as Habaneros so you will be able to enjoy this more if the Habanero is too spicy for your liking. Use this delicious pepper for salsas, soups, and sides like rice and beans!

Lipstick Pepper Seeds
from $3.99
Looking for a juicy sweet pepper to grow in a cooler climate? Lipstick peppers are rumored to be named for their elongated shapes and vibrant red color which looks like the appearance of the famous cosmetic item. Favored for their thick flesh and sweet flavor, these peppers are great to use as a culinary ingredient! The Lipstick pepper is a variety of Pimento pepper, which is a non-spicy cultivar that is known to have one of the lowest Scoville ratings of any pepper.
The Lipstick pepper plant was developed as a cold-tolerant variety for cold regions, and they’re dependable and extremely heavy producers. The peppers will grow to 4 inches long with a crisp, crunchy flesh and smooth, taut, shiny skin. Ripening from green to bright red, they will form cone-shaped or heart-shaped pods with tapered ends. The Lipstick pepper is an excellent pepper to grow for those who live in shorter warm seasons, and to cook in the kitchen!
