Bubblegum Peppers may be one of the coolest 7 Pot varieties! Also known as the Bleeding Bubblegum or BBG7, this pepper gets is named after its "bleeding stem," or the color of the pepper bleeding over into the stem. This is crossed between a red Moruga Scorpion and Trinidad Yellow 7 Pot, so you'll expect to have some serious pepper heat! These pepper plants will grow up to be about 3 ft. tall and produce plenty of these bright red pepper pods. Bubblegum peppers are tiny, 2" pods with shiny smooth skin and bright red, an almost pinkish color that looks like the 1-cent Bubblegum from back in the day. It became world-famous when it broke all records in the Guinness Book of World Records back in 2011. The Scorpion Butch pepper is a very exclusive pepper and is very hard to find, but we love growing rare peppers! The chili is a Trinidad Scorpion strain, which we all have come to know as one of the hottest peppers in the world. The Butch T Trinidad Scorpion pepper plant will grow to 3 ft. tall and produce bountiful crops. Although it's a finicky germinator, with some tender loving care, it will grow very well. Pods will typically grow to 2" long and have a scorpion-like shape, including the stinger. Butch T Scorpions mature from green to red and can have either shiny or wrinkly skin. The Trinidad Scorpion Butch T pepper is HOT and will burn your mouth off, but once you get past the heat, you’ll find it tasty with its sweet, fruity flavors that are similar to the Trinidad Moruga or Carolina Reaper. The C3PO is an interesting super hot pepper with a very long parentage. It was named after the Star Wars robot, where its origin began with the variants of the Jigsaw cross that was created in Finland. Originally it was nicknamed Vader Jigsaw because there were mysterious variants that came into play to create this super hot pepper. The Moruga Scorpion’s variants appeared from the Jigsaw, and then a grower named Michael experimented with the chocolate version. Illinois grower, Mike Hess, then grew the Vader Jigsaw seeds, and he created a more caramel variant that resembled a 7 Pot Primo with a sweeter flavor. Hess then decided to keep the Star Wars theme going, so he named the pepper C3PO! He discovered that the heat level was identical to the Moruga Scorpion, which we know is a dangerous super hot pepper The C3PO pepper plants will grow to around 3-4 ft. tall, but make sure to take care of the plants consistently for the best results. The pepper is a caramel-red colored pod that looks like the 7 Pot pepper. The C3PO pepper is very wrinkly, scrunched up, and looks slightly evil. It has a strong heat and the tiniest amount of fruity sweetness. Keep in mind that this is a young cross, so it won’t be 100% stable when you grow this. It will grow into many variations, but we think that’s the fun part about it! The California Reaper is a descendant of the Carolina Reaper so you know it's insanely hot! This peach Carolina Reaper variety is known to be a possible cross between the original red Carolina Reaper and Jay’s Peach Ghost Scorpion pepper. The California Reaper is a relatively new strain so you expect some variation. Although it has not yet officially been tested, this super hot variety averages about 1,500,000 Scoville Heat Units! Features: California Reaper pepper plants will grow to around 4 feet tall. A while back we started carrying the Ghor-Pion pepper, and now we have the Ghorpion Peach pepper! This is produced by Jay from Pennsylvania, and we all know him as the master at cross-breeding super hot peppers. This is a cross between - you guessed it right - the Ghost Pepper and the Butch T Trinidad Scorpion. The Ghorpion pepper plant will produce wrinkled, bumpy, long peppers that look like Ghost peppers, but they develop little stingers that are commonly related to the Scorpion pepper. These peppers will ripen from green to peach-orange color when they reach maturity. With heat in excess of 650,000 SHUs and an amazing fruity flavor profile, these peppers are great use for spicing up any food dish! Also known as the Ice Cream Scorpion, this pepper has a great flavor with a hint of vanilla and grapefruit citrus. The I Scream Scorpion pepper has slightly less heat than other Scorpions, the Scoville on this one ranges from 200,000 - 500,000. I Scream Scorpion peppers grow on 2-3 ft. tall pepper plants. You'll notice peppers beginning to form, taking a similar shape to their Scorpion counterparts and extending up to 3" long. Note: these peppers are slow to germinate and may take as long as four weeks to sprout, and may take 175 days to harvest. The I Scream Scorpion matures from green, to light yellow, to dark yellow with hints of orange. You can tell how dangerous this pepper is with its scorpion tail, and you may scream because of how hot it is! The I Scream Scorpion pepper has a great flavor with a hint of vanilla and grapefruit citrus and slightly less heat than other Scorpions. The Scoville on this one ranges from 200,000 - 500,000 - similar to the Habaneros, but slightly less heat than most Scorpions. This is a yellow variant of the MA Wartryx created by Matthew Arthur (also known as MA), a renowned chili grower. Once a previous world record holder as the hottest pepper in the world, the Moruga Trinidad Scorpion chili was developed at the New Mexico State University Chili Pepper Institute and is incredibly hot! This pepper held the prestigious honor in 2012, but was quickly stripped of its title by the Carolina Reaper. Nevertheless, the Moruga Trinidad Scorpion hasn't faltered in terms of heat and flavor! Also spelled Primotailii, this is absolutely one of the hottest peppers to ever exist! This chili is a cross between the 7 Pot Primo and Fatalii that was cross-bred by Chris Saunders in 2012. The Primotalii pepper feels just as hot as the Carolina Reapers and Scorpions, but we’re not sure of the heat level - officially. There’s one thing that’s for certain, this super hot pepper is a scorcher! The 3 ft. tall Primotalii pepper plant produces medium yields of 2-3" long peppers with skins that look like they are boiling. It almost symbolizes the massive heat they carry…yikes. The peppers ripen from green to bright red, and they grow very long skinny tails similar to the Reaper. Heat levels for the Primotalii are said to be over 1,000,000 SHUs, and as high as 2,200,000 SHUs - tied with the world's hottest pepper! This gnarly pepper variety is named for its ability to resemble a brain! The Brain Strain, also known as the 7 Pot Brain Strain, is part of the 7 Pot Pepper family that is known for its scorching heat, and this pepper variety is no exception. This is not a hybrid pepper but instead was developed using selective breeding to use particular desired traits. In 2010, David Capiello (a hot pepper growing hobbyist) from North Carolina, obtained these seeds from a grower in Trinidad & Tobago. The 7 Pot Brain Strain pepper plant is very productive and stretches up to 3-4 ft. tall. Believe to be similar and closely related to the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion, the 7 Pot Brain Strain peppers will grow up to 2" long and be wrinkly and bumpy with a "brain-like" look. In our opinion, this may be the coolest hot pepper you can grow in your garden! Pods will ripen from green to a striking red color when they reach maturity. This hefty super hot pepper has volcanic heat and more placental tissue than other peppers, almost as hot as the Carolina Reaper. The Skunk Red pepper is a cross between the MA Wartryx and the 7 Pot CARDI. It was developed by master Italian grower, Rocco Maltesi and is one hot pepper. You get the heat right up front but also has a nice fruity flavor to it. This extremely hot pepper has a rough bumpy texture that sometimes grows a scorpion-like tail.
