Don’t get this confused with banana peppers! The Banana Supreme F1 pepper's namesake comes from its color and shape which resembles a banana. Barker’s Hot Chili Pepper is an Anaheim-type with extra heat and terrific flavor. Developed from the selection of native New Mexican chilies (NuMex varieties), these peppers can grow well in hot and dry climates. This was created by the Wisconsin grower named Chad Soleski who happens to be the creator of the original Bhutlah. The Bhutlah Bubblegum 7 Pot Red pepper plant will grow over 4 feet tall. The genetic makeup of this pepper is a rather interesting blend; it is thought that the Bhutlah genetics play a crucial part in the overall shape, while the Bubblegum genetics cause the wrinkly skin.
