FRASER FIR:
The Fraser Fir is one of the most popular types of Christmas Tree for good reason! The trees naturally grow in a lovely pyramid shape so don’t require much pruning, & their dense branches full of soft dark blue-green needles with silvery undersides are very attractive. Importantly, they are able to retain their needles for a long time (typically 6 weeks or so) after being cut. Their slim form makes them a good fit for smaller spaces. They feature strong limbs with an upward curvature that hold ornaments well & won’t sag under the weight of allll those ornaments you can’t wait to lovingly smother it with. A close relative of the Balsam Fir, the Fraser Fir is quite fragrant, & its scent really is best described as “Christmas” – like Balsam - a bit like pine with woody, earthy tones, & a hint of citrus.
Fraser Firs have been used as the White House Christmas tree more than any other species, & is the tree chosen for the banquet hall at Biltmore. I myself cannot hear ‘Fraser Fir’ without thinking of Harold & Kumar :)

Guajillo Pepper Seeds
from $4.25
The Guajillo pepper is one of the most popular chiles grown in Mexico. They have a great flavor and a mild heat that makes these peppers versatile in much of Mexican cooking.
The Guajillo pepper plant grows around 2-3 ft. tall and produces many pods that are 3-6" long and 1" wide. They have a pendant-looking shape, tapering off to a point, with a raisin-like, wrinkly texture and a brownish-red color as they ripen to maturity.
What's unique about the Guajillo pepper is that it's commonly referred to as the dried version of the Mirasol pepper. But don't get confused, as the Mirasol pepper has slight differences in appearance, flavor, and heat level. The Guajillo chili has sweet, fruity tones, and then it hits you with a sharp, savory mild heat. The dried Guajillo chiles have a unique process as they are dried first as whole pods, then crush to a powder to make a seasoning paste. This pepper can be used to create mole sauces, salsas, sauces, and more!

Habanada Habanero Pepper Seeds
from $2.75
All the great flavor of a habanero but without the heat. Impossible, you say? Well, feast your eyes (and taste buds) on the Habanada!
Developed by vegetable breeder Michael Mazourek, this heatless habanero chili pepper grows on 2-3 ft. tall compact, productive plants. You'll see these pods grow around 2-3" long and ripen from green to orange and have crisp, thin skin.
It’s extremely versatile and is excellent seared, braised, roasted, raw – you name it. Fun Fact: The Habanada absolutely stole the show at the 2014 Culinary Breeding Network Variety Showcase when it was used to make a sherbet. You and your friends can enjoy all the fruity (and even floral) notes of the habanero, but don’t have to set your mouth on fire to do it. Seriously, just add these to your cart. You won’t regret it!

Habanero Caribbean Red Pepper Seeds
from $2.75
The Caribbean Red Habanero pepper is almost TWICE as hot as the regular habanero pepper, with a pungent fruity flavor that’s guaranteed to fill your taste buds – well, the remaining ones that didn’t singe off by the intense heat!
These bushy plants grow up to 4 ft. tall and produce bountiful yields of these 2” long heirloom peppers. With so many pods on these branches, you may want to stake it for added support. Pods start green and turn to their signature red color with wrinkled skin and shape like a small lantern. Caribbean Red Habaneros can be picked when they’re green, but for a sweeter flavor, you’ll want to wait until they mature to red.
We recommend wearing latex gloves and other protection when handling these peppers. With a heat level of 400,000 SHUs, these peppers are loaded with capsaicin which can cause irritation and pain when exposed to your eyes and even to your skin. When you get past this incredible heat, you’ll notice the citrusy and fruity flavors, with some saying they taste smoky undertones as well. Caribbean Red Habanero peppers are the perfect spicy addition to cooked foods and salsas but are even better when dried and ground into pepper flakes and chili pepper powder.

Habanero Mayan Red Pepper Seeds
from $3.75
Looking for a pepper to make you cry...in a good way? The Habanero Mayan Red pepper, or also known as the Habanero Maya Red pepper, is an outstanding pepper to grow but will burn your tongue pretty quickly!
The pepper plant will produce 3-4" long bright red, glossy, lantern-shaped peppers, and the peppers are longer and more slender than the typical Habanero. These peppers will ripen from green to bright red, and they can be ready to eat when they are green after 70 days or when they are red around 90 days. The red habanero peppers are similar in shape to the Paper Lantern pepper, but these are larger. The pepper plants have early maturity and produce well in cooler climates. So, if you live in a northern climate and love super-hot peppers, then you must try growing these peppers!
Once you take a bite of the crunchy, juicy pepper, you’ll taste sweet, fruity tones with a less Habanero flavor. These peppers are great for making sauces and marinades, and are also good for frying and making chili powder.
