Product description

The Beaver Dam pepper was brought to a small Wisconsin community in 1912 by a Hungarian immigrant named Joe Hussli, and since then, it has become one of the biggest hot peppers and a favorite for Wisconsinites.

These compact pepper plants grow to 1.5 ft, tall and are very productive! Beaver Dam peppers grow to about 6" long and 3" wide. A massive pepper variety, they are horn-shaped with a pointy tip and ripen from bright green to shades of orange and red.

The Hungarian heirloom pepper is sweet and tangy, tasting like sweet paprika, with slow-building heat that stays on your tongue. This is a very versatile, crunchy pepper providing medium heat that you can add to sandwiches, salsas, and more!
