Between its jaw-dropping pastel colors and a strong tolerance for heat, drought, wind, and rain – it’s no wonder NuMex Easter was a 2014 All-America Award Winner! Primotalii - (Capsicum chinense) Also goes by Primotailii.  The Primotalii pepper is a cross between the 7 Pot Primo and the Yellow Fatalii. It was created by Chris Saunders of the UK.  A majority of the peppers on the 3 foot tall plants develop very long thin tails.  Peppers are extremely hot similar to that of the Carolina Reaper. Habanero Caribbean Red - (Capsicum chinense) The Caribbean Red is one of the hottest Habaneros topping out around 450k SHU.  They originated from the Yucatan area of Mexico.  The Caribbean Red grows to about 1.5 inches in length and 1 inch around and ripen to a bright red.  The plants grow up to 3-4 feet and are very prolific producers of fruits.  They are perfect for salsas and hot sauces and great for adding a kick of heat to any dish. Aji Sugar Rush Red - (Capsicum bacattum) The Sugar Rush Red like other Aji types is very fruity and sweet with a heat level below habaneros. They are very prolific and need a long season. The peppers ripen from green to dark red and are elongated. They are about 4 to 6 inches in length. They are excellent for salsas, roasting and stuffing. The Black Olive Pepper was awarded the 2012 Flowering Plant Award from the All-America Selections, and there’s no dispute why. This is a multi-use ornamental pepper plant that looks stunning AND grows peppers that can be used for almost anything! This compact plant barely makes it to 2 ft. tall and grows dark-purple bushy foliage with green stems and bright purple flowers. These peppers get their name from their shape, which looks like a small black olive growing on the plant. As they mature, the peppers turn from their purplish black color to a deep red. A very easy plant that grows annually, they resist heat and humidity, keeping their elegant colors and features intact. Beware: the little Black Olive peppers have a bit of a bite to them! While edible, these peppers are very spicy and vary in heat like other ornamentals.
