Cow Horn Hot Peppers are named after their shape and relation to, you guessed it, a cow's horn! Also known as the Czechoslovakian black pepper, this is a unique, beautiful, black-red colored pepper that packs amazing, surprising heat when it is ripe. The Beaver Dam pepper was brought to a small Wisconsin community in 1912 by a Hungarian immigrant named Joe Hussli, and since then, it has become one of the biggest hot peppers and a favorite for Wisconsinites. This was created at New Mexico State University and is a hybrid of the Thai ornamental pepper, but with less heat and more beauty. Aji Sugar Rush Red - (Capsicum bacattum) The Sugar Rush Red like other Aji types is very fruity and sweet with a heat level below habaneros. They are very prolific and need a long season. The peppers ripen from green to dark red and are elongated. They are about 4 to 6 inches in length. They are excellent for salsas, roasting and stuffing. CPR pepper - (Capsicum chinense)  The CPR pepper, a Capsicum chinense variety, was discovered by Butch Taylor as an accidental cross, resembling both the Carolina Reaper and 7 Pot Primo. Named as a playful acronym for "Carolina Primo Reaper," the CPR pepper is an extremely hot, dark chocolate-colored pod with a fruity, floral flavor profile. Though slow to grow and not particularly prolific, it reaches up to 4 feet tall and requires an extended growing season. Its burn profile is intense, focusing on the mouth, tongue, and roof of the mouth, making it a true superhot pepper. Fresno Chile - (Capsicum Annuum) If you like to cook with peppers, the Red Fresno Chile should be your go-to. They were created in the 1950's and named after the county of Fresno in California. Very similar and often mistaken as a Jalapeno, the Fresno has a more complex flavor with a little more heat. They have a wonderful sweet smokiness and the heat is slow building. They have thin walls making them great for drying and making powders. They are very versatile when cooking with and go great in salads, salsas and perfect for making flavorful hot sauces. The fruit starts out bright green changing to orange and red as fully matured. They are about 2-3 inches in length with a slight curve. Description This is the Chocolate version of the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion that scored a world record heat of over 2,000,000 Scoville units. It is also called the Brown Moruga Scorpion.
