The Pequin pepper, also known as Turkey Pepper, Chilipiquin, and even Cayenne in some places, is a small pointed fireball, that somewhat resembles a small Thai pepper. It's similar (and often confused with) Chiltepin peppers in that they originated in Mexico and are often found growing in the wild there and in Southern Texas. The Chile Pequin plant will grow to about 4 feet tall and are highly productive. These 3/4" bulbs ripen from green to a bright red or red-orange color when mature.
