Bhut Jolokia Orange Cream - (Capsicum chinense)The Bhut Jolokia Orange Cream is a creamy orange colored ghost pepper. Unlike other ghost peppers that start off orange and mature red, this one stays a creamy orange. The bumpy pendant shaped fruits are 1 inch around and 3 inches long on average. Flavor is citrusy with a slight earthiness. Not quite as hot as the red or brown variety but will still light up any dish. The Beaver Dam pepper was brought to a small Wisconsin community in 1912 by a Hungarian immigrant named Joe Hussli, and since then, it has become one of the biggest hot peppers and a favorite for Wisconsinites. Barker’s Hot Chili Pepper is an Anaheim-type with extra heat and terrific flavor. Developed from the selection of native New Mexican chilies (NuMex varieties), these peppers can grow well in hot and dry climates. The Bane Strain Peach Pepper is a unique creation from grower Kevin Bane, who crossed the Peach Ghost X, White Ghost, and Butch T peppers. The name Bane Strain is wordplay from the Brain Strain pepper, so make sure you are looking at the correct pepper! Pepper plants grow 3-4 ft. tall and produce heavy yields of these 2-3" long pods. Bane Strain peppers will ripen to a pale peach color and have a slightly bumpy, rigid skin with possible stingers. Don’t get this confused with banana peppers! The Banana Supreme F1 pepper's namesake comes from its color and shape which resembles a banana. These 2 ft. tall pepper plants are compact and grow well in containers. Banana Supreme F1 plants will produce larger fruits at an earlier stage and will grow sweet, tapered yellow peppers. Although these peppers are sweet, there is a possibility some may pack some heat.
