Also known as the Ice Cream Scorpion, this pepper has a great flavor with a hint of vanilla and grapefruit citrus. The I Scream Scorpion pepper has slightly less heat than other Scorpions, the Scoville on this one ranges from 200,000 - 500,000. I Scream Scorpion peppers grow on 2-3 ft. tall pepper plants. You'll notice peppers beginning to form, taking a similar shape to their Scorpion counterparts and extending up to 3" long. Note: these peppers are slow to germinate and may take as long as four weeks to sprout, and may take 175 days to harvest. The Cubanelle pepper is quite the charming light green pepper. The pepper is very popular in Central America like Cuba, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic because the Cubanelle comes with unique flavors that you’d never expect! Bleeding Borg 9 Red Pepper Seeds from $5.75
The Bleeding Borg 9 chili pepper comes with a bit of history: Jon Harper, an expert grower from the United Kingdom, created this pepper. This is a cross between the 7 Pot Bubblegum and Naglah (Bhut Jolokia x 7 Pot Douglah). We’re not sure why it’s called the Borg 9, but some say it was named after the actor Ernest Borgnine. What we do know is he included the word ‘bleeding’ into the name because he created the 7 Pot Bubblegum which the color of the pepper bleeds up the calyx and the stem. Bleeding Borg 9 pepper plants can grow to 4 feet tall and produce over 100 peppers in a season. The 2" pods are very wrinkly, maturing to their vibrant red color at maturity.
