Red Scotch Bonnet Hot Pepper Seeds from $4.25
The Red Scotch Bonnet is one of the most recognizable hot peppers in the world. With different colored variants (think Yellow and Orange Scotch Bonnets), this variety provides great flavor with heat that feels a lot worse than what it actually is! These hot pepper plants can reach as high as 4 ft. and produce wonderful bounties of these short, inch-and-a-half-long pepper pods. This fiery pepper will ripen from green to bright red and form into a wrinkly, globular bonnet shape. Expect these pods to mature later than usual within these short, bushy plants. With fruity and smoky flavors, the Red Scotch Bonnet Pepper sounds delightful! But don't let the flavor fool you - this pepper has pretty substantial heat that has a sharp burn, scorching the tip of your tongue all the way down to the back of your throat! Handle these Caribbean scorchers with care! Get more of our Hot Pepper Seeds including popular varieties like our Scotch Bonnet Seeds and Habanero Pepper Seeds!
Red Scotch Brain Strain Pepper Seeds (7 Pot Strain) from $7.25
This gnarly pepper variety is named for its ability to resemble a brain! The Brain Strain, also known as the 7 Pot Brain Strain, is part of the 7 Pot Pepper family that is known for its scorching heat, and this pepper variety is no exception. This is not a hybrid pepper but instead was developed using selective breeding to use particular desired traits. In 2010, David Capiello (a hot pepper growing hobbyist) from North Carolina, obtained these seeds from a grower in Trinidad & Tobago. The 7 Pot Brain Strain pepper plant is very productive and stretches up to 3-4 ft. tall. Believe to be similar and closely related to the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion, the 7 Pot Brain Strain peppers will grow up to 2" long and be wrinkly and bumpy with a "brain-like" look. In our opinion, this may be the coolest hot pepper you can grow in your garden! Pods will ripen from green to a striking red color when they reach maturity. This hefty super hot pepper has volcanic heat and more placental tissue than other peppers, almost as hot as the Carolina Reaper. We must warn you that this could be the hottest of the 7 Pot Pepper family! Try using this pepper for soups and stews for their smoky flavors! Can't live without spicy peppers? Rocotillo Pepper Seeds from $2.75
Want a pepper that looks like the Habanero or Scotch Bonnet, but with less heat? Look no further than the Rocotillo Pepper! The peppers are popular in the Caribbean, and it’s even called the Puerto Rico pepper because of how often they’re used there. The Rocotillo peppers appear to be varieties of both Capsicum Baccatum and Capsicum Chinense, but their origins differ! The Baccatum variety is from Peru, but it’s uncertain where the Chinense variety originated. To make it more confusing, it’s said the Baccatum originated in Peru but was discovered in Puerto Rico years later. Although its origin and history are confusing, we do know these peppers are tasty! Rocotillo pepper plants grow up to 3 ft. long and produce high yields of these tiny, 1" long pepper pods. Their appearance looks like a squished shape, almost like a compressed Bishop's Crown pepper, with glossy skin and bright red color. These peppers ripen from green to orange, and finally to red when they're ready for harvesting. This is a very mild alternative to the Habanero for those who do not necessarily want a super hot pepper. Although the heat level is very mild, they will taste sweet and tropical. The Rocotillo pepper is a variety you must try growing in your own backyard! Enjoy growing unique and exotic peppers? View our Rare & Exotic Pepper Seed Collection for more!

Rooster Spur Pepper Seeds from $4.25
Rooster Spur peppers were known for their elusiveness back in the 1970s when then-President Jimmy Carter tried seeking out these peppers after being gifted with this pepper-infused summer sausage. Today, Rooster Spur peppers are grown worldwide and take on many different names – in Japan, for example, they go by the name Takanotsume peppers, or “hawk claw” peppers. These pepper plants will rise to 2 ft. in height, bearing many of these 2” long fruits. The Rooster Spur gets its namesake from its shape. Small, slim, and curved just like Thai peppers, they look just like the spurs roosters use to fend off their enemies. Peppers will mature from green to dark red. While these plants are used ornamentally, Rooster Spur peppers are very much edible. Just like their talons, however, these peppers pack a lot of piercing heat for the size that they are! Their thin walls work great for drying into chili powder – try this out instead of Cayenne or Tabasco peppers!
