White Devil's Tongue pepper plants will stretch up to 3 ft. tall and grow good bounties of these 3" long pods. The name White Devil's Tongue comes from the pepper's appearance, which looks like a strange and distorted tongue from the devil himself! They look very similar to a Fatalii pepper, ripening from light lime green to a purple color, before finally changing to white at its final stage. However, the chili does have a slight yellow tint when at full maturity. Although its twisted shape forms to look like the Devil's tongue, don’t be intimated by its appearance! For a hellish-looking pepper, it's not a super hot variety, registering 150,000-300,000 SHUs for a biting heat, but not blistering. The pepper has some habanero flavor with less of an earthy taste. Use these peppers for a variety of culinary purposes like drying, grilling, roasting, sauteeing, and stuffing! Want more rare peppers like the White Devil's Tongue?
