There are two replaceable razor blades affixed to the top of the boat shape net bag (supported by a rigid plastic frame) which are angled so when you pull back on the pole they catch and slice through the stem of the fruit. The fruit then gently falls into the mesh bag.
This handy little tool provides hand picked quality on fruit types such as mangos, avocados, citrus and other delicate fruits. It is also ideal to use for maturity testing and early spot picking.
