It held the distinguished honor as the world's hottest pepper, before it was dethroned by the Carolina Reaper. It is still a highly respected pepper for its volcano-level heat. This variety is related to the Butch T Trinidad Scorpion. There are many similarities between the two except Trinidad Scorpion peppers do not have the little tail sticking out of the bottom.

This is a rare super hot variety that you won’t get anywhere else! The Abyss Chocolate is a creation from Kevin Bain and is a four-way cross, however, the cross is unknown, so we are growing a mysterious pepper! It’s being kept a secret for now, but that’s not a big deal because we still get to grow and taste this beauty. The heat level is also unknown, but we do know it packs some heat.
The Abyss Chocolate pepper ripens from green to a chocolate color and forms into an oval shape and a tiny tail. The Abyss looks pretty gnarly with its rough, bumpy, scary-looking skin. This is a solid throat burner and is excellent to grow in your garden. The Abyss Chocolate pepper plant is a medium-to-high yielder and is a mid-seasonal/late-season producer.
As you slice the pepper open, not only does it reside a lot of oil in the flesh, but you may even see it dripping on the knife you cut it open with. Once a previous world record holder as the hottest pepper in the world, the Moruga Trinidad Scorpion chili was developed at the New Mexico State University Chili Pepper Institute and is incredibly hot! This pepper held the prestigious honor in 2012, but was quickly stripped of its title by the Carolina Reaper. Nevertheless, the Moruga Trinidad Scorpion hasn't faltered in terms of heat and flavor! While being tested, a senior research specialist went through four pairs of latex gloves when handling it, saying "the capsaicin kept penetrating the latex and getting on our hands...this has never happened before."

The Chocolate Ghost Pepper is believed to be a variant of the Red Ghost Pepper that stemmed from crossing with a 7 Pot Douglah. That lineage creates this fabulous pepper which can actually have pods HOTTER than the Ghost Pepper, with a taste all of its own. Although the Chocolate Ghost chili has never officially been tested for Scoville Heat Units, most estimates are in the 800,000 to 1,001,304 range. Death Spiral Pepper Seeds

The Death Spiral Chile or the "Death Pepper" is a new strain of pepper that emerged from the United Kingdom a few years ago. The Death Spiral manifested its way into the hot pepper market and took the pepper community by storm.
Pepper plants can grow up to 4 ft. tall and produce nice yields of these super hot peppers that are loaded with capsaicin oil, dripping between the inner walls of the pepper. The inner skin of these peppers is light brown in color, which foreshadows the burn that is about to ensue. The ripening stages are very unique compared to other chili peppers. In the early stages, it starts at a light green, then changes to light peach, finishing with a vibrant red and orange color. Since this is a relatively new strain, expect some variability.
Flavor seems to vary with these peppers. Most peppers are fruity with citrus undertones, while some are floral with extreme heat. Nevertheless, this pepper is ridiculously hot and exciting to grow! You won't be disappointed.

Jay's Peach Ghost Scorpion Pepper Seeds

This super hot creation was done by Pennsylvanian grower Jay Weaver who bred the red Ghost and a Trinidad Scorpion with a peach-colored exterior. This is a pretty rare pepper to have, and you won't regret growing this one in your garden!
Grow these 3 ft. tall pepper plants and WOW your friends when it starts growing high yields of these peach-colored pods that get to 2-3" long. The shape might not be the prettiest - its contorted size, bumpy skin, Scorpion-like tail - but the colors as they ripen from green to lighter shades of red and pink, and then a gorgeous, unforgettable peach color is what's truly remarkable.
This pepper is HOT! With heat levels reaching around 900,000 SHUs, Jay's Peach Ghost Scorpion Pepper is one you don't want to take lightly. MA Wartryx Pepper Seeds

Behold the MA Wartryx! From legendary chile grower, Matthew Arthur comes another wicked crossbreed between…well, no one really knows. Some say it was the result of an accidental cross between anywhere from 3-5 different chiles. We may never know why and how this was made, but we do know this is one HOT pepper.
Plants can grow as high as 4 ft. Tall and are incredibly bountiful. These peppers have a very rough and wrinkly texture compared to their brother the Wartryx but are otherwise similar in overall shape and size, ripening from green to orange-red.
The super-hot heat on the MA Wartryx is anywhere between 1,000,000-1,200,000 SHUs, making this a great variety for drying up into chili powder or adding (sparingly) to homemade hot sauce recipes. Besides the heat, you'll notice their sweet, fruity flavor with some hints of floral as well.
